De acordo com a FEBRABAN (Federação Brasileira de Bancos), estima-se que em 2024 ocorreram perdas no Brasil por fraudes bancárias por uso indevido de cartões de crédito ou transações eletrônicas no valor de RS 4 bilhões, cifra que pode crescer 20% em 2025.
