Identy.io’s digital identification suite gives organizations the tools to issue, manage, and verify digital credentials backed by ISO/IEC 30107-3 certified liveness detection and PKI-signed credential chains, on mobile, offline, and at scale.

What it does the Digital Identity Verification

Most digital identity solutions assume too much — a smartphone in every pocket, connectivity everywhere, one format for every use case. Identy.io starts from the opposite assumption.

The suite covers two distinct but complementary products: BioCode, for portable credential delivery via signed QR code, and ID Wallet, for full lifecycle credential management aligned to international standards. They serve different needs and contexts, but share the same biometric foundation.

BioCode packages identity data and biometric templates into a digitally signed QR code — presented on a phone or printed on any document. The credential holder needs nothing more than a piece of paper.

The Identy.io platform handles the onboarding workflow: biometric capture, document verification, liveness detection — designed to support KYC and AML requirements within a privacy-by-design architecture aligned with GDPR and eIDAS principles. The result: a compact, cryptographically signed credential at a fraction of the cost of traditional smartcards.

The ID Wallet supports issuance, storage, verification, and revocation for government IDs, educational certificates, corporate badges, financial instruments, and commercial loyalty tokens. It implements W3C Verifiable Credentials and ISO/IEC 18013-5 (mDL), following the trust model that decouples issuers from verifiers — no direct integration required per relying party. 

Selective disclosure, passwordless biometric authentication, and native OID4VC support for IAM integration without proprietary middleware.

Shared foundations

Both products are built on the same biometric engines that power Face SDK and Finger SDK — independently certified under ISO/IEC 30107-3 and FIDO UAF Level 1 — with no requirement to store biometric data centrally, and full support for offline verification.
